In this case we had to break out new drainage channels around the base of the building and fit heavy duty canals and downpipes. The lower terrace apartments had to be stripped out, tanked and retiled to stop all water ingress. We finished the walls around the lower terrace with a natural stone feature that was then waterproofed. This acts as a splash guard for water discharged from the main roof.
