Many people are dubious about buying a house to renovate in Spain, we too sat well within that Category until we met Tony.
Our house was uninhabitable and so needed a complete renovation including waterproofing, electrics, new kitchen, bathrooms, new terracing and the list goes on. To see it now you would not believe it.
Tony was in essence our project manager but he was so much more than that; he dealt with all the licences, the local town hall, the planning, the budget, even the neighbours, so that all progressed smoothly.
He was aware of our budget and listened to our ideas although he usually came up with better ones; when we needed to overspend on unforeseen issues; of which there will always be some when completing a major renovation, he came up with ideas and designs to reign in the budget in other areas; never compromising on the quality and overall look.
Nicola was our design guru and without her I’m certain our house would not have looked so good. She has been doing this for some years and her expertise and foresight on the end product really shone through. She tirelessly drove us around looking for kitchens, tiles bathrooms giving us options within our price range. She emailed ideas and was always available for advice.
Throughout the whole project Tony kept us up to date with progress and budget sending photos and asking our opinion on things that cropped up.
This communication is imperative if you are not there and never once did we have any concerns about what was happening or choices that were being made.
The quality of the finish exceeded our expectations and credit must go to the craftsmen that are part of the team.
Their aftercare has also been second to none; it is obvious that they take pride in what they do and they do it well.
The home we have now is something we could only of dreamed of but with Tony, Nicola, Phil, Jose and all the craftsmen that make up their team the dream is now reality.
Would we recommend them…..well they will be coming back to do the next phase of our renovation.
